History
The Dawoodi Bohra community began settling in the Twin Cities in the early 1980s.
In 2009, the local jamaat (organization) was founded to support the religious and communal needs of the Dawoodi Bohra residents in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Western Wisconsin, and other nearby states. Around 45 Dawoodi Bohra families currently reside in the Twin Cities area, where they gather for worship at Jamali Hall in Plymouth, Minnesota.
